This class is for men who have always wanted to try yoga but felt a bit uncomfortable being in a women dominated class. The emphasis will be to familiarize men with the many benefits yoga can bring into their daily lives, and can ENHANCE their recreational activities. Participants will learn how to transform their lives with;
– Poses that integrate alignment of spinal column
– Deep diaphragmatic breathing, while standing sitting & lying
– How to combat and respond to stress
– How to build ankle stability and hip mobility
– Techniques to strengthen your core, correct bad posture, and help with excessive sitting
In this 6 week specialty yoga series, classes will be 70 minutes long.
